Without further ado... the RECIPE.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Buckeyes
An AdviceGals Family favorite
3C Rice Krispies cereal1 stick melted butter2C peanut butter1lb powdered sugarMix together then add powdered sugar 'till it makes a big ball (**hint - this is where your Kitchen Aid mixer really shines!).
Make walnut sized balls (**we love to use a small ice cream scoop as seen in the photo above) and refrigerate until firm, then dip in the following:1 large chocolate bar (go Godiva or go home, right?)1 6-oz. package of chocolate chips1/8 lb of parafinMelt parafin in double-boiler, then add chocolate bar and chocolate chips. Stir until smooth. Keep hot while dipping balls. Coo, then ENJOY!

ReplyDelete... especially after I gave them a smoothie this morning that was supposed to be peanut butter, chocolate and banana, but was actually pb, choc, and ginger (oops:)!

i'm up in the middle of the night and can't sleep. i'm actually considering making these right now. (minus the parafin and melted chocolate. i'll just mix the chips in!) girl can't sleep, girl should at least have a treat to keep her company while she watches reruns of friends.
